James Ralston

James Edward Ralston, 87, of Wooster, passed away, Saturday, February 22, 2025 at LifeCare Hospice with his family by his side.

James was born May 8, 1937, in Canton to Albert R. and Ruth Irene {Whiteford} Ralston.

He served in the US Navy for four years during peacetime.

James married Della Faye Petry on February 13, 1960; they just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. 

James worked for the Timken Company for 40 years, retiring in 1994. Following his retirement, he worked for Silver Realty. James was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed golfing and bowling. James will be deeply missed by his wife, Della; son James Albert (Terrie) Ralston of LaGrange, KY; grandchildren Ryan (Neely) Gamble, Amanda Gamble, Makayla Repp, Madison Ralston, Caitlyn and Tristin Ralston; great-grandchildren Travis, Chloe, Jonah, Paige, and Riley. 

James was preceded in death by his daughter Connie Marie Repp, two brothers and a sister.
