James M. Thompson

James “Jim” Thompson, 69, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 peacefully at home with his family by his side.

There will be no service per Jims wishes. At a later time the family will plan a celebration of life dinner for Jim. Roberts Funeral Home is helping with arrangement. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Any wishes of sympathy or flowers may be sent to Lisa.

Jim was born April 10, 1953, in Damascus VA to James and Nancy {Campbell} Thompson.

He married Lisa McVicker on July 29, 1972. 

Jims greatest pleasure in life was being able to spend 50 wonderful years with the love of his life, Lisa, who he shared a love like no other. He was very proud of his family. Both of his children and grandchildren meant the world to him. Jim will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He also will be deeply missed by his fur baby Bud, they shared a very special bond.

Jim was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather

He will be deeply missed by his wife; children James W. Thompson and Andrea (Raymond) Krownapple; grandchildren Michael, Alexandra, Kaileigh, Ashlyn, Nadia, and Wyatt; brother Alan (Jenny) Thompson.

James was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Fred and Jeff.
