James "Jimmy" Johnson

James H. “Jimmy” Johnson, 80, of Wooster, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at his residence.

Friends may call Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Friday at 3 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

Jimmy was born June 20, 1938 in Bremen, Kentucky to John and Arlene {Skaggs} Johnson.

He worked for Sandy Supply Co. for many years. He volunteered at the Wayne County Fair.   Jimmy loved hunting, flea markets, and spending time with his family and friends.

Jimmy will be deeply missed by son Mark (Mary) Johnson of Galion, daughter Judy Davis of Wooster, step-children Mary Gunn, Sandy, Ed (Angie), and John Chrostowski; grandchildren Cameron (Sara), Chris (Samantha), Colton, Corey, and Chad Johnson, Stephanie (Steven) Bennett and Warren Collins; step-grandchildren Morgan Gunn, Tyler (Dedra), Chelsea, and Cody Chrostowski, great-grandchildren Casen, Raylynn, Noah, Oakley, and Chloe Johnson; several step-great-grandchilden; brother Johnny and Orrvalle Johnson both of Wooster, and Ronnie Johnson of Kentucky; sister Brenda McKinney of Glenmont. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, long time companion Betty Chrostowski, and brothers Louis and Jesse.
