James "Stoney" Stone

James “Stoney” Stone, 65, of Wooster, died Saturday March 16, 2019 at his residence.

Stoney was born November 2, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio to LeRoy and June {Pohl} Stone.

He graduated from Wooster High School in 1971.

Stoney lived in Louisiana for most of his life. He worked as a mechanic and in construction, before moving back to Wooster. Stoney enjoyed reading and woodworking. He also was a fan of the New Orleans Saints.

Stoney will be deeply missed by his daughter Jessica Stone of Wooster; granddaughter Kelsie Himes; brother Thomas (Joan) Stone of CA; sisters Pat (Zach Logan) Wohlgamuth of Wooster, Ruthann (Ronnie) Mayle of Marshallville; good friend Susan Zampi.

Stoney was preceded in death by his parents, niece Amy Wohlgamuth and brother-in-law Dwight Wohlgamuth.
