Jane Book

Jane Huntsman Book, 79, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013. Jane was born in Barberton, but spent the majority of her life in the Wadsworth area. She loved to stay home and take care of her family, and always enjoyed having a houseful of friends over for a home cooked meal. In addition to her love of cooking and baking for friends and family, Jane operated a home-based baking business for seven years.
She was preceded in death by "the love of her life", husband Paul Book, and also by her mother Elsie Mowery, father Joseph Huntsman, and brothers Malcom and James Mowery, and sister Lenoria Sigman.
Jane leaves behind son Gary (Lisa) Book and his sons Ryan (Nancy) Book, and Robert (Jamie) Book, who gave her the long, awaited first great-grandson Landon. She also leaves son Randy Book, his daughter Sarah Jane, and his son Chad (Nikky) Book.
Jane is also survived by sisters, Peggy Spanioli, Karyl Lynn McMurrian, Barbara Higgins, Doris Jo Huntsman, Linda Rae Huntsman, and Lori Huntsman, and brothers Craig Huntsman and Doyle Huntsman, in addition to many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks are given to brother-in-law Butch Book and his wife Pat, niece Kelli Chapman and husband Philip. Jane was especially grateful to Dr. Kenelm Mccormick and Maggie Maisel, RN/MSN, Dr. Peter Katsaros and his staff, Angela Schertz, RN/CNP and VITAS Innovative Hospice Care for all of their care. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 15 at 12 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with Vitas Hospice Chaplin Elizabeth Young and Angela Schertz officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service Tuesday, January 15, from 11-12 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
