Janet Friend

Janet Marie Friend, 65, of Marietta, died November 25, 2018 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family.

She was born June 19, 1953 in Marietta to Carl and Ruth Friend.

Janet retired from Elkem Metals.  She loved her family, her dogs Mia & Ty, and her trips to Beachcomber.

Janet will be deeply missed by her children Autumn Smith (Ken Casada) and Katrina Nolan;  grandchildren Steven (Tiffany) Nolan, Destiny Covey, Kayla Schnell, Joshua Zinn, Justin Zinn and Jerad Zinn;  8 great-grandchildren; siblings Roy (Rena) Friend, Linda (Henry) Antill, Thelma Friend and Jake Friend; ex husband and friend Danny Lee.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Wednesday from 1p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
