Janet D. Jackson, 71, of Greenwich, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Hospice House.
Janet was born on April 28, 1941 in Woodsfield, Ohio to Clyde and Grace Edna (Covey) Longden. She married Clarence "Jack" Jackson on February 6, 1960.
Janet worked at Brethren Care for 18 years. She enjoyed flowers, country music and the Cleveland Indians.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Clarence; children, Jackie Longden of Shiloh, Bev Roberts of Mansfield, Lori (Chad) Kennedy of Mansfield, Tina (Ryan) Young of Ashland, and Connie (Tim) Shepherd of Shiloh; grandchildren, Rachel, Mandy, Derek, Adam, Heather, Brittany, Brandi, Breanna, and Bethanie; eleven great grandchildren, five step grandchildren; and brothers, Clyde Longden Jr. of Ashland and Dale Longden of Washington.
Janet was preceded in death by her son, Charlie Leibolt, two brothers and seven sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Roberts Funeral Home – Ashland Chapel, with Pastor Ted Risner officiating. Friends may call from 5pm-7pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
