Janice Dobbins

Janice Arlene Dobbins, 82, of Wooster, died Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at The Avenue.

Memorial services will be Monday, May 6th at 11am at Parkview Church of Christ with Pastor Brian White officiating.  Inurnment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel is assisting with services. Janice was born November 30, 1936 in Coshocton, Ohio to Ralph and Marguerita {Hedge} Davis.

She married Clarence Robert Dobbins on November 10, 1961.  He passed on May 16, 2007.

Janice worked at Castle Nursing, Walnut Hill, and Walnut Creek for more than 30 years. She was a member of Parkview Church of Christ. Janice enjoyed bingo, puzzles, crocheting, and spending time with her dog.

Janice will be deeply missed by her children Patricia Ann (Lyman) Dawson of Wooster, Ellen A. Markley of Wooster; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, daughters Maureen Lois Hendrix and Jennifer Kay Nelson, brothers Frank and Richard Davis, and sister Ruth Woodhead.
