Janice Ritchey

Janice Ritchey, 84, of Wooster, died Saturday December 12, 2020 at LifeCare Hospice.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family. Private services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home. Janice was born July 14, 1936 in Creston, Ohio to Everett August and Selma Anna {Schnell} Gasser.

She married Joe D. Ritchey on January 12, 1962. He died April 13, 2013.

Janice retired from Wooster Community Hospital in 1998. She attended Grace Church. Janice enjoyed playing Euchre, quilting, sewing and knitting homeless matts for the group New Use for Old Bags. She especially enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Janice will be deeply missed by her children Jennifer (Brian) Stichter of Leesburg, IN, Judy (Jon) Ressler of Wooster and Joyce (Kevin) Keener of Creston; grandchildren Julianne (Sam) Stokes, Jacque (Angel) Duran, Zachary, Christopher, Trevor, Kolton, and Kendra; great-grandchildren Luna; sister Elda Imhoff; brother-in-law Mark (Patti) Ritchey: extended family Solvejg Stampe and Kris Stokke.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, brothers Delbert and Eugene Gasser.
