Jean Brandt, 83, of Apple Creek, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at her daughter's home in Wooster.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 1 pm at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Jean was born April 29, 1929 in Brownsville, PA to William Benjamin and Dorothy {Hafer} McCann.
She married Melvin Brandt on June 30, 1949. He died in 1985.
She was a homemaker and an avid golfer. Jean was a member of Central Christian Church.
Jean will be deeply missed by her daughter Janet Brandt of Wooster; grandchildren Katherine "Katie" Smith and Kristal Smith; brothers Jess (Nellie) McCann of Wooster and Jack (Betty) McCann of Pennsylvania.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Melvin and sister Janet Mack.
