Jean Schwartzmiller

Jean Schwartzmiller, 93, of Wooster, died June 11, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, in Wooster.

Jean was born September 4, 1930 in Akron, Ohio to Benjamin and Flora {Oaks} Baum.

She married Donald Schwartzmiller on September 4, 1970.

Jean was a Bank Teller, and an Escrow officer for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wooster. Jean was a member of the Eastern Star. She liked playing bingo, reading, knitting, sewing, gardening, and cooking. Jean loved spending time with her husband Don before he passed, together they loved dogs, and doing everything together.

Jean will be deeply missed by her daughters Mary (Rich) Svoboda and Patricia Meier; step-son Bruce (Peggy) Schwartzmiller; grandchildren Rob (Chris), Monica (Mark), Janet (Bobby), Bethany (Nate), Janeal (Chris), BJ; great-grandchildren Hannah, Alaina, Grace, Lilly, Isaiah, Joshua, Adelynn, Piper, Noelle, Shiloh, Audrey.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Donald; brothers Bill, Blair, Dalvin, Harold, and Jerald; sisters Geraldine, Etheline, Violet, Margaret, Ilene.

Friends may call Tuesday June 18 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Jean-Schwartzmiller) with Pastor Larry Groves officiating.
