Jeffrey Alan Smith, 60, of Apple Creek, died October 6, 2017 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, in Columbus, Ohio.
Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Akron Children’s Hospital at One Perkins Square, Akron, Ohio 44308..
Jeffrey was born July 11, 1957 in Wadsworth, Ohio to Robert and Nancy {Finney} Smith.
He was a graduate of Waynedale High School in 1975, and then attended Wooster Business College.
He married Debora Merckle on February 12, 1977.
Jeffrey was an automobile service advisor at several car dealerships in the area, for the last 30 years. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, and enjoyed being involved in family activities.
Jeffrey will be deeply missed by his wife Debora Smith; children Alyssa (Matt) Tullis of Newtown, Connecticut, and Justin Smith of Driggs, Idaho; grandchildren Emery and Lily Tullis; brothers Bill (Jane) Smith of Apple Creek, and Jim (Vicki) Smith of Sidney, Ohio; sister Stacy Bowman of Ashland; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents.
