Jeffrey Wayne Yoder, 50, of Wooster, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2024.
Jeffrey was born January 4, 1974, in Winchester, Virgina to Titus and Carla Yoder. Jeff grew up with a deep appreciation for family, community and the simple joys of life.
A hardworking man, Jeff found his calling as a long-haul truck driver for B&L transport, where he thrived on the open road, taking in beauty of the country and finding peace in the journey. He was previously employed by Wayne Health Services and Supplies, where he left a lasting impression through his dedication and kind heart.
Jeff’s greatest joy came from the time spent with his family. He adored his wife, Diana and his children, Kelsey Dail (husband Andrew), Makayla Yoder, and Christopher Yoder and all of Wooster. He also deeply cared for his six grandchildren, Braylynn, Claire, Emilia and Della (Kelsey’s children) and Addison and Elijah (Makayla’s children), who brought light into his life and whom he cherished beyond measure. His grandchildren treasured rides in the back of his truck while blasting Taylor Swift music. Jeff loved singing and playing music for all to hear, sharing his passion for music with those around him. His goofy personality and infectious sense of humor added joy to the lives of everyone he met. Whether it was around a campfire, telling stories, or cracking jokes, Jeff had a special way of making others smile and feel at ease.
In addition to his immediate family, Jeff is survived by his parents, Titus and Carla Yoder of Wooster, his brothers Brian Yoder (Winchester, Virgina) and Michael Yoder (Columbus, Ohio) and his sisters Christine Greiner (Chesapeake, Virgina) and Kimberly Flood (Columbus, Ohio). His family and friends will always remember him as a kind, hard-working, and good-natured man who brought warmth and laughter to all who knew him.
Jeffs presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and a life lived fully on his own terms will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
