Jeremy Daniel Burkepile, 35, of Perrysville, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Pomerene Hospital, in Millersburg from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident.
Jeremy was born August 13, 1977 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Kevin M. Burkepile and Kathy M. {Spake} Shearer.
Jeremy was a 1995 graduate of Ashland High School. He also graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute with honors as a Harley-Davidson Technician in 2011.
He married Katie Richert on August 1, 2003. She survives.
Jeremy was a self- employed motorcycle technician; formerly of Bent Wrench in Loudonville. He was also a contractor with Sprang Builders in Apple Valley. Jeremy was an avid outdoorsman; especially hunting and fishing with his son Koby. He enjoyed collecting firearms and anything that had a motor.
Jeremy will be deeply missed by his loving wife Katie, children Hannah, Megan and Koby all of Perrysville, his mother Kathy and Step-father Ken Shearer of Ashland, father Kevin Burkepile of Alabama, sisters Destinie Bahr and Kerrie Burkepile both of Ashland, mother-in-law Kristi (Chet) Woodward, father-in-law Carl (Laura) Richert, many nieces and nephews, and grandmothers, Freida Spake, Joanne Sweet and Loraine McFadden.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandfather James Spake.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. A Celebration of Life Service will be at Nyhart's Place on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 2-5 P.M. at 8050 Private Road 481, Loudonville, Ohio 44842.
