Jerrie Lee Jones, 71 of Mansfield, died Saturday June 8, 2013 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.
Jerrie was born Nov. 16, 1941 in Richmond Virginia to W.C. "Jack" and Ellen Lee (Potts) Boyd.
Jerrie was married for 43 years to Virgil E. (Turk) Jones who preceded her in death June 27, 2012.
She was retired from Therm-O-Disc. She was a member of The Liederkranz, and enjoyed playing bingo and shopping. The joy of her life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jerrie will be deeply missed by her children, Troy and Sharon Miller, John (Ruth) Jones, Cheryl (Robert) Garcia, Penny Hignite, and Donald (Tresea) Jones; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; mother Ellen Beers; siblings Debbie (Marty) Landry, Keith (Kim) Beers, Donna Haynes, W.C. Boyd Jr.
She was preceded in death by her father W.C. "Jack" Boyd.
Funeral services will be Thursday June 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Ashland Chapel, 1058 US Rte 250 W. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association at americanlungassociation.org .
