Jerry Crofutt Sr

Jerry David Crofutt Sr., 77, of Wooster, died Saturday, October 17, 2015 at LifeCare Hospice, in Wooster.
Memorial service will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd Wooster, Ohio 44691.
Jerry was born September 30, 1938 in Mansfield to Jerry O. and Pauline E. {Lanning} Crofutt.
Jerry graduated from Mansfield high school in 1956.
He married Shirley A. Etzel on November 24, 1956. She passed on January 02, 2006.
Jerry worked for Wooster in their Parks and Recreations department as a park foreman. He was a member of the First Church of God. Jerry was a scoutmaster for many years. He loved to fish, hunt, and woodwork. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Jerry will be deeply missed by children William (Lori) Crofutt of Arizona, Ellen (Ty) Bishop of Orrville, Jerry D. (Laurie) Crofutt Jr. of Apple Creek; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and special friend Connie Moses.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife and great-grandchildren Sasha Bishop and Austin Bell.
