Jerry Rouse

Jerry M. Rouse, 67, of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, July 07, 2019 at his residence.

Friends may call Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Jerry was born February 5, 1952 in Dunn, North Carolina to Jim M. and Willow D. {Sills} Rouse.

He married Sue Dotson on October 15, 1977.

Jerry worked for Gerstenslager Co. in Wooster for many years. He was a musician and had a band called Jerry Rouse and the Roustabouts for many years. He was an avid Bingo player.

Jerry will be deeply missed by his wife; children Tammy (Lynn) Yoder of Wooster, Jerry (Tiffany) Rouse of Millersburg, Tommy Rouse of Wooster, Heather (Darin) Campbell of Galena, and Amanda (Josh) Tipple of Smithville; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother Donnie (Vicki) Rouse of Wooster; and step-brother Jimmie (Jill) Rouse of Punxsutawney, PA.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brother Larry Rouse; and sister Anne Woodruff.
