Jerry Freeman Thigpen

Jerry Thigpen, age 78 of Seville, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2023.

He was born in Lexington, Alabama on February 4, 1945.

Jerry retired from Alcoa Aluminum where he worked for 30 years.

He is survived by his daughters Jennie (Michael) Nemeth of Lakewood and Sheila (Donnie) Hemming of Medina; 4 grandchildren Chase Nemeth, Ashton (Carlos) Cooper, Cayleigh (Max) Jogan and Nicole Hemming; as well as two great-Granddaughters Everleigh Jogan and Octavia Cooper.

Jerry was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Wanda (Goodman), his parents Robert and Willie Tee (Barnett) of Alabama, and brothers Burlen Thigpen (Martha) of Alabama and Jimmy Thigpen (Mary T.) of Seville.

Jerry loved to hunt, fish, and have coffee every morning with his friends. Friends may call Thursday, October 19 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville.
