Jerry Uhler, 45, of Smithville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 16, 2012.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Nick Tilman officiating. Jerry was born June 4, 1967 in Wadsworth, Ohio to Paul and Beverly {Davis} Uhler.
He was employed at the Apostolic Christian Home. Jerry enjoyed movies and music. He spent a lot of his time remodeling and working on computers and electronics. He loved spending time with their pets.
Jerry married Lisa on August 20, 1988. They have been married for 23 years.
Jerry will be deeply missed by his mom Beverly (Gene) Chelski of Wooster; his wife Lisa of Smithville; sister Tammy (Jim) Lockwood of Lodi; Niece Kayla Uhler and Nephews Colton and Nick Lockwood and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents Forrest (Thelma) Uhler and Harold (Josephine) Davis; his dad Paul Uhler, uncle Ronnie Uhler and cousin Nick Sheppard.
