Jesse H. Moore, 90, of Wooster, died Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Wayne County Care Center.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at Trinity Church of Christ in Wooster with Pastor Kevan Franklin officiating. Friends may one hour prior to the service. Jesse was born May 28, 1922 in Wooster, Ohio to Clarence and Marjorie {Phillips} Moore. He married June Uher on April 15, 1945. She passed away January 3, 2012.
Jesse graduated from The Ohio State University and worked at the Research Center. He was the owner of Moore's Greenhouse in Shreve. He was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ. He enjoyed playing golf, bridge, square dancing, and family activities. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II from 1941-1945 as a B-21 co-pilot. He was a member of the Shreve Lions Club for 50 years.
Jesse will be deeply missed by his children Larry (Sheryl) Moore of Colorado, Cynthia (Gary) Neil of Shreve, Greg (Terry) Moore of Big Prairie, and Joyce (Jim) Boardman of New York; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and brother Donald (JoAnn) Moore of Florida.
