Joan Harrod, 85, of Orrville, died Monday, July 21, 2014 at Dunlap Community Hospital.

Joan was born June 30, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA to John and Evelyn {Wilscek} Swerens.
She loved ceramics and giving them as gifts. Joan made flower arrangements for the church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her dog.
Joan will be deeply missed by brothers John "Jack" (Kathleen) Swerens and Ron (Mary) Swerens.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Harrod and her parents.
