Joan Marie Clark, 76, of Wooster, formerly of Shreve passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 after a long battle with Lung Cancer.
Friends may call Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Private memorial services will be held. Please be sure to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. Joan was born August 17, 1944 in Canton, Ohio to Norman and Catherine {Rothermel} Davis. Catherine later married Donald Beam, who was like a father to Joan since she was a child.
Joan was a long-time resident of Shreve and loved all the friends that she made while living there. Especially her High School friend Sally Daugherty. Joan graduated from Wooster High School in 1962. Joan married Michael Clark on July 1, 1972. They loved dancing in their younger years and were members of the American Legion, Wooster Eagles and Moose Clubs.
Joan worked for Akron Brass for 20 years and Rubbermaid for 12 years, Pel Electric and Collier Well. Joan was a friend to everyone she met.
Joan will be deeply missed by her husband; children Dale (Shelley) Baker of Martinsville, IN, Tracey (Mike) Lear of Sumter, SC, Travis Clark of Mooresville, NC; 7 grandchildren, especially Corbin Clark who she was like a mother to since he was a baby; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brother Rick Davis of OR; sister-in-law Miriam Beam of Holmesville.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Donnie Beam and Scott Davis.
Her husband would like to thank Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare for their guidance and wonderful care. She will never be forgotten and may she rest in peace.
