Jodi Sell

Jodi L. Sell, 60, of Ashland, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving children at Crestwood Care Center, in Shelby, Ohio.

Jodi was born May 26, 1963, in Berea, Ohio to John and Sally {Schoger} Sell.

Jodi worked as a paralegal for many years where she enjoyed working with the attorneys and made several relationships along the way. She then worked as a receptionist at Schoonover Industries where she loved her job and her co-workers who turned into friends. 

Jodi was an avid collector of Peanuts. She also enjoyed the simple things in life, hanging out with her friends, watching football, being outside and especially sitting on her front porch with her loving cats who always kept her company. 

Jodi will be deeply missed by her children who loved her more than she knew, Sasha (Sully) Stover, Haley (Hartley Daniels) Blackwell and Cody (Maria Maiani) Blackwell; grandchildren, Braelen Blackwell and Emersyn Metcalf; her parents John and Sally Sell; brother John (April) Sell; niece Carly Sell; as well as other extended family members. 

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and no services are scheduled at this time.
