Joe E. Franks

Joe E. Franks, 76, of Wooster, died Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Westview Healthy Living.

Joe was born March 14, 1947 in Wooster, Ohio to Bazle and Esther {Fath} Franks.

Joe proudly served in the United States Air Force. 

He married Betsy Smith on March 17, 1967.  

Joe owned his own business in AG supplies. He was a member of the First Church of God in Wooster. Joe enjoyed golfing, watching Cleveland sports, and spending time with his family. 

Joe will be deeply missed by his wife; children Jim (Jeni) Franks and Jeff (Kelly) Franks both of Wooster; grandchildren Mikaela (Daniel) Simmons, Isaac Franks, Nadia, Lucy, and Vivian Franks; great-grandchild Evelyn Simmons.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Allen and Ed.

Friends may call Monday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.
