John Bell, 81, of Polk, died Monday February 26 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
John was born September 4, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to Nick and Elizabeth {Loeffler} Bell.
John served in the Army from 1964 to 1970.
He married Janis Hanna on June 28, 1968.
John worked for the A.L. Garber company for 21 years, and then worked for Poly-Plate Inc where he retired after 17 years. He liked electrical stuff, radios, and he would fix whatever was broken.
John will be deeply missed by his wife Janis; children Mike (Tina Reed) Bell of Polk, Laurie (Douglas) Morgan of Medina, and Nick Bell of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren Chloe and Aliza Morgan, Christopher Wadden, Tiffany (Trevor) Long, and Mckayla Wadden; great-granddaughter Nova Long; and brother Bob Bell of Ashland.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/John-Bell).
