John F. Dombeck, 73, of Wooster, died Monday, November 05, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10-11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Friday at 11 at the funeral home with Bro. John was born October 31, 1939 in Ellwood City PA to Frank and Mafalda {Ricci} Dombeck.
He graduated from Youngstown State University with a BA degree in Math.
John married Virginia (Allen) on June 29, 1968. After 44 years of marriage she survives.
John worked as a Chief Chemist for Sperry-Rice for 16 years. He retired in 2005. John worked 46 years in the rubber industry. He was a member of North Pointe Baptist Church. John was a volunteer for Home Delivery Service for Wayne County Public Library. John enjoyed target practice, playing the guitar, classic cars, car shows and was an avid reader.
John will be deeply missed by his wife Virginia; children Adam C. Dombeck of Powell, OH, Shannon L. (Lonnie) Eash of Fredericksburg, OH, Rachel R. Dombeck of Millersburg, OH; grandchildren Isaac, Joshua, Leah and Noah; father Frank, sisters Frances Falcsik and Grace Geniviva both of Ellwood City PA, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Alan and Diana Scullion of Columbiana, OH
John was preceded in death by his mother Mafalda, father-in-law Roland C. Allen, mother-in-law Lula J. Allen, brother-in-law Cosmo Geniviva and brother-in-law Anthony Falcsik.
