John Eckley

John "Nhoj" William Eckley, 43, of, Wooster died Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Wooster Community Hospital. Friends may call Monday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at The Church of the Saviour, 480 Fry Rd., Wooster. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 4:00pm at the church with Pastors Jerry Durham and Brent Durham and Jeff Watson officiating. Inurnment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. John was born September 27, 1969 in Richmond, Virginia to Howard L. and Phyllis (Goodyear) Eckley.
John was employed at Wooster Appliance for over 15 years and then at Runion's Furniture in Orrville. He was a member of The Church of the Saviour where he was active as a Youth Leader in the Youth Ministry. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguin's fan. He enjoyed playing basketball and street hockey.
John will be deeply missed by his children Miranda, Marrissa and Alexis all of the home, his mother Phyllis Eckley, brothers Loren Eckley, Richard Eckley both of Wooster and sister Jean Eckley of Ashland.
John was preceded in death by his father Howard, and his grandparents.
