John K. Evans, 69, of Wooster, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Glendora Health Care, in Wooster.
Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Roberts Funeral Home PO Box 761 Wooster, Ohio 44691.
John was born April 29, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to Orphy and Marjorie {Knox} Evans.
John attended Akron Garfield high school, where he graduated in 1964. John worked at FJ Designs for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed football, namely the Akron Zips, watching the Cleveland Indians, and being a troop leader for the boy scouts.
John will be deeply missed by his daughter Lindsey of Wooster; brothers David {Deb} Evans of Tallmadge, Ohio and William {Lucy} Evans of Wooster; sister Joan {Richard} Stanford of Orrville; and former wife Louise Evans of Wooster.
John was preceded in death by his parents and his brother George Evans.
