John G. Weber, 88, of Navarre, died Friday, May 24, 2019 at his residence.
John was born February 4, 1931 in Akron to John and Mary {Sabados} Weber.
He graduated from Copley High School in 1950. John served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He married Dorothy Rubright on June 20, 1953.
John was an electrician for the Lawson Milk Company and later Dairy Mart for 30 years. He was a member of the Wadsworth and later Massillon Congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses. John was an avid golfer and loved traveling with his family. His sense of humor was wonderful and will surely be missed.
John will be deeply missed by his wife of 65 years; children Jeffrey (Anne) Weber of Navarre, John M. (Karen) Weber of Barberton; grandchildren Amber (Dan), Jason (Justina), Lindsey, John L., Katie (Justin), Chelsey (Ethan), and Aaron; great-grandchildren Gydeon, Kyle, Aadyn, and Isaac; niece and nephew Karen and Dennis Rubright; special healthcare aide Judene Baer, and all his many friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents and sister Irene Weber.
Friends may call Saturday, June 1st from 3pm to 4pm with a memorial service to follow at 4pm at the Barberton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5838 South Cleveland Massillon Road, Clinton, OH 44216 with Jack Sommers officiating.
