John "Weasel" Garver Sr., 66, of Wooster, died Thursday, September 12, 2013 at his residence, in Wooster.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 16, 2013 at 2 P.M. at the Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. John was born February 23, 1947 in Lodi, Ohio to Raymond and Lillian (Rogers) Garver.
John served in the Army National Guard from 1966-1969.
He was a pipe fitter by trade and the owner of J. R. Sprinkler Company. John enjoyed music and spending time with his friends. He was spiritual and enjoyed having daily devotionals.
John will be deeply missed by his children John Jr. and Paula Whitehouse, Mike (Jenn) Garver both of Wooster and Julie (Lon) Bauer of Wadsworth, 12 grandchildren, sister Judy (John) Columbo of Wooster and his neighbor and close friend Debbie Martin.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
