John Saefkow, 82, of Creston, died Monday, October 9, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice, in Wooster.
Private services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home - Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with his grandson, Pastor Josh Saefkow officiating. Burial will be at Canaan Cemetery. John was born August 16, 1935 in Cleveland to Harry and Katherine {Brown} Saefkow.
He married Marilyn Shriver on June 23, 1956. She died January 23, 2012.
John worked for Ohio Bell, retiring from AT&T in 1984.
He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
John will be deeply missed by his children Connie (Dave) Delozier of Wooster, Penny (Dennis) Stockton of Central Point, OR, Ken (Jimmie) Saefkow of Nashville, TN, Cathy (Terry) Scheibe of Wooster, OH, Jim (Linda) Saefkow of Creston; 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters Carol and Donna.
