John Samuel "Sam" Pearson

John Samuel “Sam” Pearson, 76, of Wooster, died Monday, September 18, 2023 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

Sam was born January 12, 1947 in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, England to Arnold and Nancy {Pearson} Pearson

He married Jeannie Nelson on July 17, 2007. She survives.

Sam worked in the textile industry for Vanner Silks for many years and in computer software. After moving to the US, he worked for Village Motors until his retirement. Sam loved electronics, especially computers, and enjoyed traveling.

Sam will be deeply missed by his wife; children Matthew, Roger and Rachael; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; in-laws Elson and Barbara Robb.

Sam was preceded in death by his granddaughter and father-in-law Kenneth Nelson.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family. There will be no services held. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
