John Calvin Sunderland

John Calvin Sunderland, 76, of Rittman, died May 17, 2023 at Smithville Western Care Center, in Wooster.

John was born March 9, 1947 in Akron, Ohio to James and Ernestine {Holley} Sunderland.

John was a car mechanic for Cascade Imports in Cuyahoga Falls in his earlier years and then he was a photographer until he retired. John loved the freedom of riding his motorcycle. He deeply loved the Lord and looked forward to going home to be with Him.

John will be deeply missed by his sons Kevin (Jessica) Sunderland of Twinsburg and Chris (Tracy) Sunderland of Doylestown; granddaughters Shayna (Bo) Zaiac, Chelsea (Cameron Holt) Sunderland, Riley Sunderland; great-grandson Logan Broadstreat; brothers Jim (Margaret) Sunderland, Don (Joy) Sunderland; sister Eita Ovonia; and special friend Doris Thompson.

John was preceded in death by his parents James and Ernestine Sunderland.
