John P. Willis, 58, of Henderson, NC, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at Duke Medical Center.
John was born April 18, 1957 in Wadsworth to Hugh and Mary Jane {Pfeister} Willis.
He graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1975, excelling in their carpentry program. John worked in the modular home industry, building homes from Kansas to North Carolina. John was a member of the Henderson Moose Lodge.
John is survived by two sisters, Kathy Willis of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Mary Morales of Akron, Ohio and three brothers, Michael Willis of Edon, Ohio, David Willis of Bellville, TX, and Thomas Willis of Wadsworth, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held Monday at 9:30 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Wadsworth with Father Joseph Labak officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
