John Floyd Wilson, 65, of Walhonding, OH, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, in Walhonding.
John was born June 25th, 1959, in Klamath Falls, OR to John Wade and Carlene {Adams}Wilson.
John graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1977. He married Vickie Weik on September 26th, 1997. John was good with his hands and worked in manufacturing and building things his whole life. He loved working on cars and airplanes. He never met a stranger and loved to help everyone he could. He loved pranks and practical jokes. He was an expert at “Dad” jokes and enjoyed being at parties and with his family.
John will be deeply missed by his wife; three children Jacob (Carol) Wilson, Lea (Nick) Wilson and Nathaniel (Alex) Dayton; grandchildren Wesley Wise, Brooke Wise, Emma Wilson, Rowan Wilson, Cayden Wilson, Roselyn Dayton, Ryan Dayton, and Grace; brother Bill (Melinda) Furniss; sisters Cindy (Marshal) Maynard, Kathi (Bill) Schonauer, and Alicia (Homer) Simmons and many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of life for family and friends will be on September 8th, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Bladensburg Community Center, 25821 New Guilford Rd, Bladensburg, OH, 43005. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
