John Zimmermann, 88, of Wooster, died June 1, 2015 at Wayne Manor Assisted Living in Wooster.
John was born August 24, 1926 in Waukesha, WI to Harry and Clara Zimmermann.
He married Sally (Guderyon) on August 2, 1952.
John was a 3rd degree honorary life member of the Oconomowoc Knights of Columbus, a longtime member of St. Jerome's Parish in Oconomowoc, WI and recently St. Mary's Parish in Wooster. He was employed as a district sales manager for the Pioneer Seed Corn Company. John was the founding and longtime member of the fire commission for the town of Summit in Wisconsin.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Sally; children James (Wendy) Zimmermann of Wooster and Dr. Ellen (Dr. Greg Christman) Zimmermann of Gainesville FL; grandchildren Mike (Joanna) Zimmermann, Patrick Zimmermann, Robert (Amanda) Zimmermann, Emily Zimmermann, Dr. Jane Christman, Bradley Christman.
John was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Clara and his brothers Charles and Lyle.
