Joseph Mottle

Joseph A. Mottle, 64, of Wooster, died Monday, March 25, 2019 at his residence.

Memorial services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the First Church of God, 1953 Akron Rd. Wooster, Ohio 44691. Joe was born May 19, 1954 in Cleveland to James and Hazel {Faw} Mottle.

He graduated from Anderson High School in Indiana.

Joe married Debra Lynn Kintner on November 17, 1973.

He worked for Sears for over 20 years and various other places. Joe enjoyed fishing and sports, especially the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.  He was known for making people laugh and loved to spend time with his family.

Joe will be deeply missed by his wife of 45 years; children Michael Mottle and Gwen Mottle both of Wooster; brother Robert (Cherri) Mottle of Alliance; sisters Christie (Butch) Gant of Indiana, Carolyn (Cliff) McCollough of Wooster and Janice Beck of Creston.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda Craig.
