Josephine Carpenter

Josephine was born on September 10, 1940 in Orrville, Ohio to Luciano and Nicolene (Cicconetti) Dalessasndro. She passed on October 17, 2013 at 7:08 a.m. following a 2 ½ year battle with ovarian cancer. She married Paul Elmer Carpenter on March 22, 1958.
Memorial services will be Thursday, October 24 at 11:30 am at Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel in Wooster. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice at 2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691.
Josephine owned Mama D's in Brewster. She loved to cook and feed all her family and friends. She was very devoted to God and was very spiritual. She was an angel here on earth. She always helped her family and friends in need. She enjoyed art and painting pictures.
Josephine will be deeply missed by her husband Paul; children Vincent Paul & Mechelle Carpenter of Beach City, Ohio and Pamela Jo Schmidt of Dalton, Ohio; daughter-in-law Wanda; grandchildren Jason Kennedy (Karla Ann Raher), Mylea Ann Carpenter and Treva Marie Inman, Robert Travis (Tabetha Gardner) Schmidt, Josephine (Carpenter) and Nathan Baily, Luciano Carpenter, and Danielle Pagnveco; great grandchildren Madyson and Miles Kennedy, Na'Shon Inman, Gavin Arthur and Damian Schmidt; brothers Vincent (Joan) of Orrville, Harry of Georgia, Phil and Jeff both of Barberton; sister-in-law Terri Tomblin; brother-in-law Ottie; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews Jill, Monica, Laura, and Mario Dalessandro, Joseph Costello, Elizabeth, Colten, Nathen, Sophia, Giavana, Kolten Burdette, Caladro, and Zakia.
Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, son Lorenzo, brother Bobby Dalessandro and sister Jennie.
Josephine was so very loved as a wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, and aunt, and by her family and friends.
