Joyce Arlene Groover

Joyce Arlene Groover, 82, of Wooster, died Thursday, May 25, 2023 at LifeCare Hospice.

Joyce was born November 20, 1940 in Youngstown, Ohio to Louis and Thelma Skelly.

She graduated from Beach City high school with the class of 1958.

She married Albert Leroy Groover on April 9, 1960. 

Joyce worked for Taco Bell for 13 years. She was a member of First Church of God. She enjoyed bowling with the Moose Women’s Bowling League, crocheting, craft working, and knitting.  

Joyce will be deeply missed by her husband of 64 years; son Mark Groover; brothers Les, Charles, Donald, and sister Sandra.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and son Wayne.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is helping with arrangements. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
