Joyce Kay Howell, 67, of Rittman, died Friday, November 24, 2017 at Autumnwood, in Rittman.
Joyce was born October 12, 1950 in Hugheston, West Virginia to Leroy Junior and Nita Garnet {Campbell} Carpenter.
She married Vernon R. Howell in 1970. Vernon passed in 1982.
She worked at the Wayne County Care Center in Wooster. Joyce loved listening to Bluegrass, camping, and playing bingo.
She will be deeply missed by her son Vernon R. (Joan) Howell Jr. of Wooster; mother Nita Carpenter of Rittman; brothers Lloyd Carpenter, James (Judy) Carpenter, Joseph Carpenter, and John Carpenter; sisters Judy (Danny) Jackson, Rhoda Baker, and Lynn (Bob) Stahler,
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, and her father.
