Joyce Yergin Taillon, 70, of Wooster, died Wednesday September 5, 2012 at Smithville Western Care Center.
Joyce was born April 19, 1942 to Glenn A. and Wanda (Robey) Yergin in Columbus, OH. She enjoyed word puzzles, reading and flower gardening. Her passion was music, which she used to minister in several churches through the years, including Northview Alliance Church, where she was a member. She enjoyed playing both the organ and the piano.
Joyce worked as a legal secretary at Logee Hostetler Stutzman & Lehman's law firm until retiring in 2007.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sisters Karen and Sharon. She is survived by Gordon, her husband of 38 years, step-son Scott, (Rebecca), CO, siblings Bette Bridges, CO, Judy Adams (Bruce), FL, Jonathan Yergin (Ann), GA, Janet Murray (Charlie), GA, Joseph Yergin (Marjorie), GA and Jewel Anderson (Rick), GA, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be made at a later date. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel in Wooster is assisting the family.
