Joyce Wolfe {Burrows}, 60, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday, November 18th 2017 at Kingston of Ashland Nursing Home following a long illness.
She was born in Cleveland on December 29, 1956 to Charles “Chuck” and Estelle Burrows {Wolf}.
Joyce married Rodger Wolfe on October 26, 2001. He passed away on January 5, 2015.
Joyce worked as a factory worker for Par Industries several years ago in Medina. She also worked as the GM of Clark Gas Station in Ashland, Ohio for 6 years before it closed. Joyce was an auxiliary member of the American Legion. She loved to play bingo and she enjoyed playing online games. Joyce was a people person, most everyone grew to love her and called her mom. She will be deeply missed by her family, many friends and staff that loved her at Kingston of Ashland.
Joyce is survived by her three children Robin Burrows and Tracy Liston both of Mansfield, Christopher Smith {Burrows} of Blakeslee, PA and loved by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; mother, Estelle Burrows {Wolf} of Dalton; brothers Charles J. (Linda) Burrows of Spencer, Dan (Cheryl) Burrows of Columbus and Al (Cheryl) Burrows of Canal Fulton; sisters Rosie Ballow {Burrows} of Dalton, and Eva Zawadski {Burrows} of Mansfield.
Joyce was preceded in death by her father, husband of 14 years, grandparents Albert and Frances, and aunt Betty.
Cremation is taking place and a memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 220 Sandusky St, Ashland 44805. Interment will be private at the family’s convenience. Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland is assisting the family with arrangements.
