Joye W. Hosfeld, 86, of Wooster, died Thursday, August 05, 2010 at her residence. A private family service will be held at Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel with Pastor Emily Corzine officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.Joye was born February 25, 1924 in Millersburg to Clarence and June {Patterson} Williamson. She married Raymond A. Hosfeld on March 26, 1945, he died March 11, 1991.
Joye was a cake decorator for Buehler’s Food Market and Hawkins Market for 18 years, retiring in 1986. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and quilling.
Joye will be missed by her children Bridget (Herman) Ury of Wooster, Dolores (Gary) Frank of Malvern, Linda (Eugene) Tyler of Canton, Claudia (Jim) Eberts of North Canton, Fred (Marcia) Hosfeld of Wooster, Robert (Ann) Hosfeld of Cincinnati, Jacinta (L.J.) Larsen of Plymouth, MI; 27 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and sister Norma Mohler of Millersburg.
In addition to her husband, Joye was preceded in death by her sister Neeva Fair.
