Judi Gingery

Judith Ann “Judi” Gingery, 79, of The Villages, Florida (formerly of Wooster, Ohio) passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster surrounded by her family. Judi was born June 16, 1943, in Elyria, Ohio to Bryan and Lucille (Marks) Miller. After graduating from Elyria High School, she married her high school sweetheart, Roy Gingery, on June 20, 1964.  While she worked as a successful paralegal in the community, her heart was most dedicated to creating a home full of love that eventually filled the hearts and values of her grandchildren. Judi had an adventurous spirit for travel and shared experiences alongside her loved ones. She spent time flower gardening as a form of relaxation and creative expression, and she made every one of their houses cozy and elegant on the inside. Her grandchildren describe their “Nana” as the classiest woman they could ever know.
She enjoyed years of social events, dancing, bridge, golf, tennis, pickleball, and shopping, but quality times with friends and family were most important to her.
Judi will be deeply missed by her husband, Roy; children, Julie (Keith) Beckett of Wooster and Stephen (Rebecca) Gingery of Columbus; grandchildren, Taylor Gingery, Chelsea Beckett, Corey Beckett, and Chloe Beckett; sister, Cathy (Carl) Del Corral of Elyria. Judi was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Dixie Bago.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Online tributes may be made at RobertsFuneralHome.com
