Judy Coffman

Judy M. Coffman, 78, of Ashland, died Sunday, July 7, 2019 at The Good Shepherd Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Campus.

Judy was born October 28, 1940 in Ashland to Gilbert E. and Mary E. Searl.

She retired from Sohio Stop 250 / Travel Centers of America after 27 years where she worked as a cook in the restaurant. Judy was a member of Apostolic Faith Assembly in Mansfield. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and planning family reunions. Recently, Judy enjoyed her friends she met at the Good Shepherd.  While at the nursing home she loved attending morning bible study and competing in all of their recreational activities.  She had a love for the Lord and made a lasting impression on everyone she knew, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Judy will be deeply missed by her daughters Monica S. Medley, Lynda L. Jacobs, Elizabeth “Liz” A. (Michael) Watson all three of Mansfield, and Wendy R. (Dan) Carter of Ashland; grandchildren David (Amy), Joe (Amber), Chris, Faith, Rebeccah, Rachel (Chad), Kearstin (Chris), Manda, Betsy, Haley (Brian); great-grandchildren Helana, Timmy, Lil D, Aubrey, Ava, Addyson, Cooper, Anthony, Evan, Gatlin, Gideon, Griffin, Azriel, Landon, C.J.; brother Tom (Debbie) McQuate of Greenwich.

Judy was preceded in death by her granddaughter Hannah Mae McCaskey.

Friends may call Wednesday from 12 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Robert O’Brian officiating.  Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
