Judy Sayre

Judy (Juju) M. Sayre, 73, of Wadsworth, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Hospice of Medina County, surrounded by her loved ones. She is rejoicing in Heaven as she is finally reunited with her loving husband.

Judy was born January 16, 1944 in Danville, Illinois to Roy Lee and Margaret {Biederer} Carter.

She was a graduate of Danville High School in 1962.

She married Urlin “Gene” Sayre II on September 4, 1971.  He passed away on September 2, 2004.

Judy was a member of Reimer Road Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir, and being a greeter (before it was an official duty).  She was passionate about volunteering at Haven of Rest, as well as witnessing and spreading the message of God. Judy loved riding on motorcycles, going to car shows, and listening to old gospel hymns.

Judy will be deeply missed by her children Shay Sayre of Washington, Shannon Sayre of Florida. And Tom (Rhonda) Sayre of Wadsworth; grandchildren Jacob (Nicole), Marshal, Kayla, Autumn, Haven, Skylar, Owen, Emily Gene, Ryan, Brandon, Logan, Jojo, Anara, and Sookie;  and her brother-in-law Joe (Maggie) Sayre of Wadsworth.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of  almost 33 years; and her sister Lori McMullen.

Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Reimer Road Baptist Church, 1055 Reimer Rd, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281. Services will be Friday at 11:00 at the church with Pastor Jim Newton officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
