Julia "Judy" Kirven

Julia "Judy" Elaine Kirven, 83, of Wooster, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Orrville Pointe.

Friends of Jack and Julia Kirven may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Their services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Smith of Gateway Church officiating.  Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.   Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice at 1900 Akron Rd, Wooster, OH  44691.

Julia was born July 20, 1936 in Pulaski, Virginia to Ralph and Polly {Harrell} Henson.

She married John “Jack” Kirven on February 20, 1954.  He passed away on February 2, 2020.

Julia worked at Hawkins Market in Wooster. She enjoyed gardening, watching movies, and cooking for her family. Julia most loved getting updates about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, hearing stories and seeing photos of them.

Julia will be deeply missed by her children John (Shirlee) Kirven Jr. and Jerry (Mary Jo) Kirven both of Wooster, Jill (Dave) Wrather of Smithville, Jodi Lee of South Carolina, Julie (Bill) Lauro of North Carolina, and Jackie (Alan) Messenger of Orrville; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Janice “Teetsie” (Gary) Krug and Susie (Butch) Weisgarber both of Massillon.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, son-in-law William Lee, brother Fred Henson, and sister Patricia “Patsy” Akey.
