Julio T. Stincer, 55, of Marietta, died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, in Marietta.
Julio was born August 22, 1959 in Havana, Cuba to Julio and Silvia {Lastra} Stincer Sr.
He served in United States Army from 1977-1987. Following active duty, he served in United States Army Reserve until 2012.
He married Cheryl Lynn White on September 27, 1980.
Julio has worked for the United States Postal Service for over 24 years. He was a member of St. Mary Basilica in Marietta. Julio enjoyed golfing movies and spending time with his family especially his granddaughters.
Julio will be deeply missed by his wife, children Jasmine (Eric Seabright) Stincer of Seattle, WA, Jade (Matthew) Lyons of Johnstown, OH, Jessica (Rob) Gruenwald of Johnstown, OH and Justina (Brad Lightfritz) Stincer of Marietta, granddaughters Reese, Evan and Drew Lyons, mother Silvia Lastra of Reynoldsburg, OH, brothers Omar (Rita) Stincer of Columbus, OH and Peter Stincer of Reynoldsburg, OH and a niece and several nephews.
Julio was preceded in death by his grandparents and father Julio Sr.
Friends may call Monday, January 5, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with Msgr. John Campbell officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park, where military rites will be held.
