Junior “JR” Hurt, 66, of West Salem, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice, in Wooster.
Friends may call Thursday, July 19 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery. JR was born May 15, 1952 in Paintsville, KY to Williard and Pauline {Pack} Hurt.
He married Charlaine “Charlie” Edwards on May 16, 1998.
He worked as a truck driver for most of his life. JR loved his motorcycle, his riding brothers, karaoke, fishing, and especially his wife.
JR will be deeply missed by his wife; children Ricky (Moira) Hurt of Columbus, Christina Hurt of Beaver, Steve Cosby of Madison, IN, and Hilary Hurt of Wooster; many grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers Ed Hurt of Shreve, Charles Centers of KY.
JR was preceded in death by his parents.
