Karen J. Boreman, 69, of Shreve, died Friday, January 10, 2014 at her residence, in Shreve.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 11 A.M. at Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel with Reverend Kevin Phipps officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Karen was born September 18, 1944 in Lodi, Ohio to Paul and Betty {Dawson} Haskins.
Karen married Robert Boreman on December 23, 1993. They have been together for a total of 33 years.
She worked for Hope Homes for 14 years and retired in 2007. Karen was a member of United Methodist Church in Shreve. She enjoyed reading, fishing and taking care of other people. Karen loved spending time with her family and friends.
Karen will be deeply missed by her husband, Robert of 33 years, children Paula Whyde (John Leach) of Orrville, Tonya and Valerie Boreman of Kent, Ohio, grandchildren Marissa, Manny, Alexi, Kristian, Devan, Brentton, Cyann and Kylee, great-grandson Kyle, brother Stanley (Mary) Haskins, numerous nieces and nephews.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and brother Gary Haskins.
